Sales & Marketing

Sales – “exchange a product or service for money.
Marketing – “persuade a prospect to exchange.
Sales & Marketing – “promote and present a business to make a sale.”

Sales and marketing encompasses everything we do in business from maintaining clean bathrooms to putting an ad in the local paper to making a great shot of espresso. I like to say that in the coffee business the goal is not to make a sale, but rather make a long-term relationship. I don’t need someone’s 3 bucks today…I need their 3 bucks every day for the next year.
